This day ma'am Lynnie discuss about the APA Style which we will used for our term paper in making reference entry in our study. And me? I’m so worried of mine, because the topic I choose is difficult to find a reference but then I should find a way in order to come up with ten references for my chosen topic. Then ma'am Lynnie explain very well to us why she let us choose our topic about on our course or in or field and by that I got the point why ma'am let us do it to us so that we could communicate or consult to our adviser and even to the higher years students who studied the same field of us. It’s a great opportunity but I'm ashamed to them because we’re not that close. After our discussion ma’am Lynnie group us into four for our activity by group this coming Friday’s and few minutes she dismiss us on time.

This is it!!our activity by group in English 2.But before that ma'am Lynnie gave us a photocopy about APA Style and she let us study for 10 minutes by group and also she said to us that if there is no black out in 5pm our group activity will be done. Luckily the blackout was not happen in the institute. When our activity started all of us in our group help each other and write our answer quickly in the manila paper and unfortunately their one entry that we didn't wrote because of the time pressure the time is over. When ma'am Lynnie check our answer all of us in the class were laughing because our answer is wrong but ma'am gave some points to those group that their answer is close to the original answer and luckily were one of it. After checking ma'am Lynnie told us we should have strategy so by the second activity we make move. All of us in the class are was so hurry to put the answer in the manila paper and when the time is over theirs also one entry that we didn't finish to wrote in the manila paper but its fine because we do our very best. When ma'am check again our answer by group all of us laughing again for our answer because some misspelled the family named of the author but then all groups got points because ma’am gave a consideration to us. Our activity was fun and all of us enjoy it.

"EvEnts in the yEar 2009"
The news article titled “Cover Story: Defining Moments of 2009 by Pennie Azarcon dela Cruz “tells about the different things and event that was happen last 2009.Some of it was Charles Dickens famously wrote the best of times and the worst. There was Manny Pacquio making Filipinos proud everywhere with his double wins against boxing stalwarts Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto. There was CNN hero of the year Erfen Penoflorida with his moveable feast of books showing how dreams are reached and grasped. Former President Cory Aquino’s phenomenal wake and funeral and Arnel Pineda who was discovered on You tube and went on to become the lead vocalist of the band journey. The peso continued to rally against the dollar. And then Ondoy struck sinking Metro Manila in a few hours of torrential rains that swept away any lingering doubt about the looming catastrophes of global warming and climate change. The Maguindanao massacre saw 57 unarmed civilians gunned down in cold blood by warlords made invincible by dubious political alliances. Add to that word infamy, as the Abu Sayyaf bandits again courted the global headlines by kidnapping three Red Cross volunteers.
While reading this article the very first thing that comes in my mind was in year 2009 is like a bullet that crack our mind to those events that are unexpected to happen in our country. Those things and events that were happen has brought to us an effect which is in the state of good and some of it was in the state of bad and it brings with emotions and their influence on our perceptions and judgments. Let me first tackle to those events that brought us and our country proud. I really appreciate to those Filipinos who fought and brought the name of our country like Manny Pacquio who won many times but then there is one thing that I don’t like that he have done, it was running a congressman on their city. It makes me realized that he run because he knows that people will vote him for the reason of his great influence in for wining the game which is boxing. Erfen Penaflorida who made things possible to those less fortunate people in our country and made them think that being meager is not a hindrance in education and of course Arnel Pineda who made the whole world knew that Filipinos got talent. But unfortunately, if we had so many good things that happened in the year 2009 we also encounter some horrific events in our motherland like the phenomenal wake and funeral of the former President Cory Aquino that made the whole Filipinos cry because Pres. Corry Aquino gave hope to Filipinos all over the world and continues to inspire and unite people. “Bagyong Ondoy” who eradicated the many Filipinos in Metro Manila in just a few hours and I’m very apprehensive to those people who has been affected in this typhoon because it’s not easy to deal this kind of phenomenon and what’s hurts is when mainly of their love ones died. It’s really firm to admit the fact because I experience this kind of situation. Of course the latest was the Maguindanao massacre who slayed 57 civilians just because of the ambiguous political alliances and I’m dreadfully shock when I’ve heard this news and see the pictures that was massacre. I say to myself that “why they have done this”? They are not GOD to judge the lives of the people. I really hate those people who have been involved in doing this kind of matter. Many lives are wasted because of their damn plan to be an influential people and to become a richest man in this world and in fact they have it already.
All this things made the year 2009 very meaningful even though it made many people sob. This is just one of the problems that God has given to us to test our faith and love to him if we could be stronger to accept the reality and truth on what was happening in our country and even in our own family. Maybe some of us didn’t recovered yet but we should because life must go on and there are things that we will find the answer if we grow enough and mature.

In this day I'm worrying about my topic in our term paper in English 2 because last week ma'am Lynnie reject my topic and now I'm have a new topic. The question is, if she will approve my topic. When ma'am Lynnie arrived in our classroom we get our book directly and open it in page 35 and soon.Ma'am Lynnie discuss to us about how to write an essay and taught its component. She also told us to read together the examples of the composition in the book, its introduction,body, and conclusion. And by that, we identify each paragraph on what order that the author used if it is deductive,inductive,climactic,spatial,chronological and emphatic. After that ma'am Lynnie discuss another topic which writing a Reaction Paper and a few minutes she gave us our new blog task which is to find an issue and react on that. Instead on writing on the paper we must blog it in our account. Then ma'am Lynnie again discuss another topic which is all about on how to write a Research Paper. Then she gave us an assignment based our topic on term paper that those who has been approve their topic and thesis statement they will give three title on it and have its purpose, specific topic, thesis statement and source of the information. Finally she dismiss us on time and me and my classmate follow ma'am Lynnie in the English Department for the approval on our topic.When we approach her and give my topic she disapproved it because my thesis statement is a fragment sentence so I went home worrying again about whats really my topic.

People were busy at MSU-IIT gym especially to those students who can vote because they are having a seminar. By that I'm hoping that we don't have a class in English 2. When its quarter to four I went to our classroom and when I arrived I saw my four classmates talking and laughing together and also they hope that their is no class. When its four thirty ma'am Lynnie didn't arrived yet and we are few in classroom. A minutes after she arrived and we taught we are not having a class because she didn't bring anything.She said to us that she will be discussing a little bit about an APA style and the note cards. Then she gave us an assignment and dismiss us early. Whats greatest event is that after how many days ma'am Lynnie approve my topic.

I'm wondering why their is two person who called Kryzel and I thought we have no class but then when Kryzel said to us that we should give one pesos to her because ma'am Lynnie ask for the photocopy of our lesson for that day. So I realized that two person who called Kryzel were task by ma’am Lynnie to tell our section. So Kryzel collected one peso then Theodore and I go with her to the English Department to get the original copy and suddenly ma'am told to Kryzel that we need to add fifty centavos because we need to photocopy two pages so we go back again in our room and Kryzel collected again. After that we go directly in the CASS photocopier suddenly the machine that photocopy with ordinary was not working and the assign person was not their so we go to the CBAA photocopier while going their were so confused that the money Kryzel collected is lacking one pesos to produce 31 copies then she realized that she didn't pay one peso for herself and for Theodore and what worst is the three of us didn't bring money. So Kryzel and I told Theodore that if he will see one of his friends their, he should ask favor if it’s fine to borrow one peso. After that a few minutes Theodore back and said he didn’t see anyone of his friend, in short he didn't successfully borrowed one pesos so Kryzel go with him and finding way how to get one peso while me is still waiting the copies and I'm so worried because the two of them didn't come back yet. When the 31 copies done they both arrived and said that they didn't find, so I said to the assign person on the copier if it’s fine that we will debts it and lucky she agree. So we go directly to our classroom and then ma'am Lynnie is their already and we distribute the copies to our classmates. After distributing ma'am Lynnie discuss it to us for a few minutes then they leave us to have time to think about the topic of our term paper and if finish we should write it in one fourth yellow paper and go to the English department for her approval. It’s really difficult for me to find a topic about my course while some of my classmate already goes to the department for the approval. Then when I finish I went to the department and unfortunately my topic was not approve because I'm just describing it and i should find other topic. So I went home thinking what topic should I choose on my term paper.

This is it our preliminary examination in English2 (GOD BLESS TO US). I’m so nervous for our exam thinking if I could answer the question because I didn't study well. When the exam started I said to myself "Bro kaw na bahala hope I will pass this exam". When I reach to test four it takes a lot of time because we need to construct a topic outline and made a paragraph out of it. I made it but I didn't know if it’s right. Finally I passed my test paper.

"Descriptive Writing: Character Profile"
Ayman L. Andig was born on January 15, 1992 in Maddina, K.S.A. He was the third child in their family among the four offspring (all boys). His father, Mr. Saga M. Andig, a Civil Engineer graduate whom he call "a sculpt of fathers", came from Lumbatan , Lanao Del Sur, while his mother, Mrs. Amani B. Lucman, a Medical Technician Specialist whom he call "a affectionate and prudent mother", from Egypt. He started going to school in 1995, completed his elementary in 2004 and graduated his high school at International Philippine School in Jeddah (I.P.S.J.) last March 2009 and now he is currently studying here in Iligan at MSU-IIT. He's a kind of person that is not gaudy to his love and apprehension to his family but bottomless inside no one can appraise how he really loves them.
At the age of 3, he started going to school; at 5, while learning to read and write, he already showed inclinations to be an artist according to his teachers. At the age 8, he started to direct his classmate in every activity they had. At age of 14 he became as the Auditor, 15 as the Vice President and 16 as the President of their school Campus. When he was in grade school, he was hoping to be a grade level courier but it didn't happen. he started to be a pessimistic thinker at all times even in his own family but when Marilou Carino gave him a chance to be a part of their party as Auditor, he did all his best so that they will not upset to him. In the day of election he was not hoping to succeed by landslide because it was his first time to run in their campus. Maybe because his father is amicable person, who showed the attitude and being down to earth in which a son will be proud of. He was so concern so much with his mothers' condition because of the illness that his mother having today since 1996.
Life to him means acquaintances and family who he can trust and who trusts him. He pretty much on the happy side of life, but like all teens he gave his "days of". That means he has some poignant days or dejected days. "Nobody knows the wisdom of God", he said. He also said, "We have to have a goal in life to struggle for; this is what meaningful for us. We should have a personal aspiration and another wider goal for humanity at large. Let us enjoy the life that we are having today and do our part as a person and one of gods' creations".
He thinks he will be probably graduating in college with the course he wanted to have. He said, he will have a great opportunity in abroad somewhat related to the course he finished and be able to build a house for his parents and of course his family. He would like to marry a woman of his dreams that will love him for who he is and still love him until life after death. His motto in life is "to live or try to live by: If you think it, it can be done".

"Our First and Second Class of English-2 of the Year 2010"
January 6, 2010 which is Wednesday is our first class in the year 2010. I feel so sleepy while ma'am Lynnie discuss our task about on our blog and the lesson that she tackled for that day but despite of my sleepy mode, I listened also carefully to her instructions and tasks so that I can work it on the right way. What makes gone my sleepy mode is when ma'am Lynnie reminds us about the topic of our term paper writing and she said it should be related in our courses. Then when I come to think of it, it's really difficult because I don't know what exactly my course all about. But this is our task so I should discover it so that I would come to a topic on my term paper.
January 8, 2010 which is Friday is our second class. I think that we don't have a class for this day because one of my classmates in this subject said that ma'am will not come because CASS has an event for this afternoon. But after a few minutes ma'am arrive. We have an activity by partner and share at least one sensory word to our partner with its meaning. After that we choose another partner for the second activity which is correcting fragments and run-on sentences but before we start it, ma'am first discuss on how to correct fragments and run-on sentences then a few minutes we start answering. When it's time to pass our activity ma'am caught one of our classmate talking vernacular and as a punishment he need to present a song and to our big surprise he sang "Bomtarat-tarat" with actions and all of us laughing and enjoying his presentation.

"New Year"
Another year has ended. We experienced things that left us different memories. Memories that are worth to be remembered and cherished for the rest of our lives while some of it will be locked in a box and will never open it again. Year 2009 is a blast but despite of it still life must go on.
New Year is a blessing from God to us. It is the day that marks the end of one year and the beginning of the next year. By that, we must always ready for all the things that might happen in our life whether it's good or bad because all of it is just a challenges in our life which test us to be strong and learn from our own mistakes.
Well, my New Year celebration as usual is such a busy day because my family and I are busy preparing foods to be eaten in our new year's eve. Then when it's done we rest for a while. When it's almost 5 o'clock we prepare ourselves and go the church directly and me as usual I'm serving in our church. After the mass, we go home together and have lots of fun in our house. When it's already twelve midnight or New Year's Eve I quickly go out in our house to watch excitedly the fireworks display in our community. I really enjoy and amazed watching the different fireworks with different their colors. A few hours the fireworks display was ended so I've go home and then me and my family eat together. We talk for almost three hours and I'm the last person who falls asleep.

"My Christmas Day"
Last Christmas which is December 25, 20009 is a very wonderful day, not only for me but to those people who celebrating the spirit of Christmas which also known"The Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ".
My family and I attend the last mass in our community while me is serving in our church because I'm one of the altar servers (Knights of the Altar).After the mass we went home together with a smiling face because all of us in our family are very excited in the Christmas eve or shall I say excited to reach the time twelve midnight of December 25, 2009. I'm very much happy also that I've completed the nine consecutive days of "Simbang Gabi" and in that nine consecutive days of waking up early at 3 o'clock in the morning is very inspiring because of the different gospel of the Lord that our priest spread to all people attending the "Simbang Gabi" which can enlighten our minds to the different possibilities in life. The most of all is that it give us what really is the true essence of Christmas and made us realized that it's not just about giving and receiving things but it's about how it comes from the heart or it's about loving one another through his/her worst and best and accepting him/her of who really he/she is and most of all it's about forgiving to those people whom who hurt you much.
